Prints from the Past is the title of an international eTwinning project that brings together students and teachers from Spain, Italy, and Türkiye to explore and compare prehistoric heritage across Europe.
Through collaborative research activities, students investigated archaeological sites, prehistoric monuments, material culture, and prehistoric jewellery from their local regions. Working together in international teams, participants shared information, analysed similarities and differences between cultures, and discovered how prehistoric societies shaped European history.
The project promotes intercultural dialogue, historical awareness, and the protection of cultural heritage while developing digital competence, teamwork, and communication skills.
Using collaborative digital tools, students created a magazine as a collective European research product, an interactive European map, and a collaborative video presentation that showcase their discoveries, creativity, and cooperation.
Prehistoric heritage was explored not only as a historical topic but also as a shared European legacy that connects cultures beyond borders. This collaborative approach helped students develop a deeper understanding of Europe’s historical connections and strengthened their sense of belonging to a common European space.
The project encouraged young people to see heritage as a national treasure but also as a shared European responsibility that must be protected for future generations.

Il progetto ha coinvolto tutti i docenti del Consiglio di Classe, in particolare le seguenti discipline:
Geostoria, per lo studio e l’analisi del patrimonio preistorico del sito “La Pineta”;
Storia dell’Arte, per l’analisi dell’arte preistorica, della cultura materiale e delle espressioni artistiche delle prime società;
Informatica, per l’utilizzo degli strumenti digitali finalizzati alla collaborazione e alla creazione di contenuti digitali;
Inglese, per la comunicazione con le scuole partner, la partecipazione alle discussioni e la presentazione dei risultati del progetto.
